Romeo 3 Observation Post, pretty much established on the Serb trench lines overlooking Ilijaš & Bresa, 2nd Troop, RECCE Squadron, Lord Strathcona's Horse (Royal Canadians) Battle Group 1994.

Summer 1994 conducting a patrol from Visoko to Breza , each Cougar got a flat, on the same side, same tire......Expedient tire change on the fly. 2nd Troop, RECCE Sqn, Lord Strathcona's Horse (Royal Canadians) BG Group.

June 1994, RECCE Sqn of the Strathcona's conducting bus escorts out of Sarajevo to Visoko. We did a hand over from the French unit on the outskirts of Sarajevo and told the bus drivers to stay close to us , so that if anything happened we were to provide protection. Driving like mad max at 80 km during the escorts on the highway to get clear of the Serbian forces, a few buses did get hit and a few windows were broken from rocks being tossed at them by the locals.
